George Carlin, We Will Miss You
Posted on 24 June 2008 by John White
George Carlin passed away on Sunday at the age of 71. He will always be remembered for his “Seven Words” routine. (Bad language warning!) He may also be remembered for being arrested for saying those words on stage.
I, and a lot of football fans (I can only hope) will remember him for his comparison of baseball and football. Listen to this and you’ll see why football is the greatest sport on the planet and why baseball…well…baseball isn’t. (The clip is from You Tube via Squib Kick.)
See! I told you! Football is the greatest sport on earth!
