Suicide Watch: Milton Bradley

Posted on 22 September 2009 by Chris Shellcroft

(Suicide Watch is a weekly series examining an individual who has committed an act that has put their career in jeopardy.)

Why he’s on Watch: For being given the Keyshawn Johnson treatment by the Chicago Cubs and effectively burning his final bridge in Major League Baseball.

Who is he: Not to be confused with the pioneer of board games, Milton Bradley the ball player has serious game on the field. Unfortunately, he’s also got an ever lit fuse about the length of Tony Kornheiser’s bangs.

Next Stop: The batting cages at the local Putt Putt which is about as close as he’ll come to playing baseball again.

How to get off Watch: Hope that Pros vs. Joes comes calling or just get it over with and do a reality series ala The Simple Life with Adam “Pacman” Jones.
