According to reports, a chainsaw carving of Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas is missing. The 8 foot tall, 1,000-pound piece of fallen pine tree, shaped into the likeness of Thomas, was unveiled just prior to the Bills’ lackluster loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Police are investigating the matter and Suicide Drills has obtained a list of the top 5 suspects wanted for questioning.

Here they are, in no particular order.

Kenneth Davis

Davis

Davis spent the bulk his career in the shadow of Thomas. He always played well in his relief appearances but was never able to force the hand of Marv Levy. Davis was last seen in the parking lot of Ralph Wilson Stadium. Both he and Frank Reich were believed to be drunk in public and were escorted off site by security.

Terrell Owens

Owens hasn’t been a happy camper in Buffalo so far. After his streak of 185 games with a reception came to an end, Owens was noticeably upset. According to witnesses, T.O. had his publicist make several attempts to put a halt to the unveiling of the statue in fear that it would overshadow his accomplishments on Sunday. After catching just four passes for 44-yards, Owens was last seen storming out of the locker room with a mirror in one hand and a chainsaw in the other.

Marshawn Lynch

Lynch is rumored to be angling owner Ralph Wilson for a trade to his hometown Oakland Raiders. Despite meeting the qualifying criteria for being a Raider by being arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, Wilson has refused to move Lynch. Marshawn was last seen in the parking lot of Ralph Wilson Stadium emptying the contents of a Swisher Sweet onto the concrete.

Leodis McKelvin

McKelvin

Leodis saw his season come to a bitter end after sustaining a broken leg in just the third game of the season. McKelvin’s ill-fated decision to bring a kickoff out of the end zone resulted in a costly fumble, gifting a victory to the New England Patriots on opening night. As a result, his front lawn became the target of fan abuse. McKelvin was last seen flipping the bird to angry Bills fans as they filed out of Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday.

Thurman Thomas

Thomas was an all-time great who helped the Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl losses. He is rumored to have been upset with the statue that bears as much resemblance to him as Scott Norwood does to Adam Vinatieri. Thomas was last seen spitting on the statue and cursing the Carvings for a Cause foundation.
