Where The Wild Things Are: Broncos Rock Zebra Socks

Posted on 20 October 2009 by Adam Best

If you think the Broncos jerseys were bad last week, wait until you see what they wore on MNF last night. At least the Charlie Brown-in-a-blender unis matched. The latest throwback throwup jerseys sported by the Broncos were again doo-doo brown and pee-pee yellow, but for some reason came with clashing black-and-white striped socks.

The Broncos’ zebra socks looked like something the refs should be wearing, but the refs looked like Whataburger employees. The socks especially looked goofy when they started getting twisted up. They looked like the barbershop pole in the black-and-white The Man Who Wasn’t There. Then again, as long as the Broncos keep winning — the currently have an unblemished 6-0 record — they can wear whatever the hell they want. They also made return man Eddie Royal look like a blur; like a zebra running away from a powder-blue lion on Animal Planet or something.

Check them out in live-video action…
