Sure, the shot didn’t count. Sure, the Celtics didn’t need the points against an overmatched Warriors team. Sure, the basket always starts to look like an ocean when you’re playin against Nelly’s Dubs (as Brandon Jennings displayed last weekend). Nonetheless, this three-quarters-court shot by Kevin Garnett just after the second-quarter buzzer is crazy impressive.
K.G. even swished it. One thing is clear; if Tom Brady’s arm is hurting and the Pats need somebody to come in and throw a hailmary (which they once did with Michael Bishop), they can always call upon the Big Ticket.
