Six Degrees of David Beckham: Connecting the World Cup Nations

Six Degrees of Beckham

Soccer/Football/Futbol is truly the world’s game. Thus the biggest sporting event on the planet is the World Cup.

There is not another sport that unites as many nationalities on the field of play as soccer does. Just to prove how small this world truly is, I offer you the most popular figure in football as a common link to all the World Cup Nations.

For this exercise, we’ll link a member of every national team that has qualified for the big tournament in South Africa with David Beckham in six degrees or less.
