Bulls Blow a 35-point 3rd Quarter Lead

Epic Fail in Chicago

Let’s give the Sacramento Kings props. The Bulls are the headline but the Kings are the story.

While Vinny Del Negro was busy authoring the book on How to Shit the Bed, Tyreke Evans was getting busy in leading his team back from a 79-44 deficit with 8:50 left in the third quarter.

Sacramento went on an amazing 58-19 run to close the game and did so without the aid of a Rock ‘N’ Jock 50-point shot. The historic comeback was complete as the clock expired with the Kings leading 102-98.

This stunning collapse could spell the end of the Del Negro error in the Windy City and should be the signature moment for Evans as he takes the lead in the NBA Rookie of the Year race.
