Written by Jesse Bartolis | December 09, 2011 | Comments Off | Uncategorized

Time is running out for Tim Beckham

Written by Robbie Knopf | December 09, 2011 | Comments Off | Uncategorized

Everything is slowly but surely slipping away for Tim Beckham. Beckham has realized that he’s not the golden boy anymore. He’s not the Rays’ shortstop of the future- that distinction belongs to Hak-Ju Lee. He’s not the shortstop of the present- Reid Brignac, Sean Rodriguez, and Elliot Johnson are all ahead of him in that regard. So what is Tim Beckham? Well currently he’s a Triple-A shortstop fighting for big league consideration. And he’s not that prospect that the Rays are delaying to call up in order to slow his arbitration clock. Beckham’s future is hanging in the balance right [...]

The New Mexico Bowl is just a baby in Bowl terms and is entering only its 6th season. The Albuquerque destination does not sound as appealing as some, but its proximity to Wyoming and considerably better weather (as opposed to Laramie in December) &#82…

Stephen Ross Will Control This Off-Season

Written by Brian Miller | December 09, 2011 | Comments Off | Uncategorized

The Miami Dolphins may or may not have a new head coach come free agency.  The Miami Dolphins may or may not have a new general manager come free agency.  What they will have is an owner who some believe will put his finger into the football side of the Miami Dolphins.  Yes, Stephen Ross may very well take control of this teams off-season. As of today the debate of Tony Sparano’s future still rages on message boards and in the media.  Sparano is simply preparing his team to play the Eagles.  Then the Bills, Patriots, and finally the Jets. OSU 2012 Class: Ricquan Southward

Written by Adam Borland | December 09, 2011 | Comments Off | Uncategorized

Urban Meyer, as I’ve mentioned several times, is on a tear with recruiting big-time prospects since his announcement as head coach on November 28th.  Ricquan Southward, a 3 or 4 star recruit, depending on which site you trust, committed to OSU on November 27th, and claimed that it was actually a different former Gator’s coach that had the biggest impact on his decision.  Stan Drayton, Ohio State’s current and Florida’s former wide receivers’ coach was the one who had a big impact on Southward on his November visit to campus. Southward, a Florida native, had previously committed to be a [...]
