Aly Raisman Finishes 2012 London Olympics With Gold Medal In Floor Exercise

U.S. gymnast Aly Raisman finished off her journey at the 2012 London Olympics with a bang after finishing in first place in today’s floor routine competition. Raisman adds the gold medal to her collection from the games and finishes as the most decorated member of the USA women’s gymnasts.

Raisman’s teammate, Jordyn Weiber, finished the floor exercise in seventh place.

Raisman adds the gold medal to her bronze in the balance beam and gold in the women’s team all-around. She beat out Gabby Douglas by one medal in the games but Douglas was very proud of the USA team captain.

“I’m so happy, going home with two Olympic gold medals and a couple of titles under my belt,” Douglas said. “I’m so happy for Aly, she deserves to be up on that podium. She had a great beam routine and I’m so proud of her.”
