If goalposts could move, the one at Lambeau Field would be giving San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis the Dikembe Mutombo finger. Crossbars have been the talk of the NFL in the second slate of games. Earlier in the afternoon, 49ers kicker David Akers booted a 63-yard field goal that nailed the cross bar and then bounced through the uprights.
Midway through the third-quarter, Davis found the endzone to extend the 49ers lead to 22-7. The touchdown was impressive but Davis’ celebration afterwards was not.
