The latest AP Top 25 poll has been released and the Alabama Crimson Tide are ranked as the unanimous number one team in the nation. For the first time this season, Alabama received all 60 first-place votes. The LSU Tigers, who struggled to pull away from Towson, slipped another spot to number four in the poll.
Oregon remains the second-ranked team in the nation while Florida State leapfrogged the struggling LSU squad.
Two teams — Washington and Northwestern — are ranked for the first time this season, while Baylor has fallen from the poll after a 70-63 loss to West Virginia on the road. Here is the full top 25 rankings following the week of college football action:
