There is never a dull day when it comes to the Arkansas Razorbacks tumultuous season. Arkansas started the season with national title hopes but quickly found out that their dreams were no longer a reality after losing to Louisiana-Monroe in week two. After the upset loss, it as a flurry of injuries to key members of the Razorbacks team that piled on to their misfortunes.
Now, Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson is back in the headlines. The senior signal-caller was involved in a car accident on Interstate 540 Tuesday morning.
Thankfully, Wilson is okay but details of the accident are still being released. The University of Arkansas confirmed the incident and released a statement on Wilson’s accident.
“Tyler Wilson was in a car accident and has been checked out. He is fine and we anticipate him to practice this afternoon,” the university stated.
Wilson was forced to miss game action early in the season after suffering a concussion during the devastating loss to Louisiana-Monroe. Despite the full details not being completely out in the open, it appears that Wilson will be 100% for this weekend’s game against Kentucky in Fayetteville.
