Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul is set to finally make his preseason debut this Sunday. Paul had remained out of action since having thumb surgery following an injury that he suffered during practice for Team USA. The Clippers announced the news of Paul’s anticipated return on Friday night.
Paul, who was medically cleared for full contact three days ago, is expected to make his preseason debut Sunday, Oct. 14 when the Clippers take on the Miami Heat at Mercedes-Benz Arena in the second matchup of the 2012 NBA China Games.
Paul will likely not see extended game action but he will see critical time to build chemistry with his new teammates. With Paul making his debut this Sunday, it means that he should be 100 percent and ready to go when the Clippers start the regular season.
