Wisconsin Badgers running back Montee Ball has made a habit of finding the endzone and today that knack scoring touchdowns has landed him in the record books. Ball scored his third touchdown of the game on a three-yard run in the fourth quarter. It was that touchdown that notched Ball the record.
The three-yard run was the 72nd of Ball’s college career and it is the 13th time in his career that he found the endzone three times in a game. With 72 touchdowns, Ball is now the all-time Big Ten touchdown leader.
Midway through the fourth quarter, Ball has racked up 247 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He has caught one pass for 14 yards.
For the season, Ball has found the endzone 8 times and has racked up 569 yards rushing. Ball is much less of a threat in the passing game having hauled in just 8 passes for 51 yards.
