Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitcher Francisco Rodriguez has reportedly been arrested at his home in Wales for domestic violence. Per CBS 58 News, the incident took place on September 17th and involved the relief pitcher’s girlfriend.

According to the report, no charges have been filed at this time but Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel did confirm the arrest.

The Brewers are aware of the report and the team’s Vice President of Communications, Tyler Barnes, has issued a statement:

“While we are aware of the arrest report, we have no knowledge of charges being filed. To that end, it would be premature for us to offer any additional comment.”

The 30-year-old K-Rod is set to hit the open market and the legal issues hanging over his head will not be good for his chances of landing a big deal in free agency.
