Los Angeles Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant’s status has remained uncertain for the team’s season opener Tuesday night against the Dallas Mavericks. Los Angeles plays back-to-back games to open their 2012-13 season. After the opener in Dallas, the Lakers will travel to Portland to face the Trailblazers on Wednesday.

Will Bryant participate in either game?

Beto Duran of ESPN Radio in LA shared some news on Twitter and it looks like Bryant will attempt to give it a go against the Mavs.

It should really come as no surprise that Bryant is likely to play in the Lakers season opener. Bryant has always been a warrior on the court and has stepped on to the hardwood with various injuries. The start of this season appears to be no different for the future Hall of Famer.
