VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Spikes Microphone In London

The Rob Gronkowski circus continues and it has officially gone international. The always entertaining tight end took his talents to London and gave the fans exactly what they wanted.

During the New England Patriots 45-7 shellacking of the St. Louis Rams in London, England this past weekend, Gronkowski managed to find the endzone two times and give the London fans what they had hoped for — the Gronk Smash.

However, it was a spike thrown down earlier in the weekend during a fan rally at Trafalgar Square in London that is being coined “The Spike Heard Round The World.”

The Gronk was giving his thoughts on the upcoming opponent when the fans interrupted him and began chanting, “Spike the mic! Spike the mic!” Of course, Gronkowski always aims to please and threw down the microphone with authority. Tom Brady, Wes Welker and everyone in attendance started to laugh uncontrollably about what just happened.

Check it out for yourself:

Gronkowski is absolutely one of the most “bro-tastic” players in the league. He comes across as an everyday guy who likes to party, walk around shirtless and spike everything in sight and what’s great is he is just being himself.

As for the Gronk on the football field, everyone better be careful this weekend. Gronkowski and the Patriots are taking on the Buffalo Bills so Gronkowski could be spiking the ball on multiple occasions.
