Michigan Wolverines QB Denard Robinson Ruled Out; Devin Gardner Will Start

The Michigan Wolverines will be without starting quarterback Denard Robinson when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers today. Robinson was injured last week and missed the second half of the team’s loss to Nebraska. Robinson aggravated a nerve injury in his right elbow.

Michigan has officially ruled Robinson out for the game. In his absence, junior quarterback Devin Gardner will get the start.

It is a big loss for the Wolverines.

Robinson is one of the most dynamic players in college football and Gardner will have some big shoes to fill when he steps onto the field. Michigan is looking to advance to 6-3 on the season and 4-1 in Big Ten play with a victory today.
