Mario Williams was saying earlier this week he was forced out of Houston this past offseason. Whether or not that’s actually true is irrelevant, because Williams isn’t the only guy who wishes he played for the Texans right now. Coming off their bye week, the Houston Texans manhandled the Buffalo Bills on Sunday behind a combined 200 yard day between Arian Foster and Andre Johnson.
Foster went for 111 yards and a score while Johnson reeled in 118 yards but was held out of the endzone (barely).
While it ended up being a 21-9 win, the Bills did give the Texans a run for their money early and had it not been for a Ryan Lindell missed field goal before halftime the Bills actually would have been leading this game at one point. But after the half, the Texans began to pull away and the Bills went back to being a hapless and helpless team on both sides of the ball.
The win moves the Texans to 7-1 on the season as they continue to run away with the AFC South and home field advantage in the AFC. There are still teams within striking distance of the Texans (like the 6-2 Ravens who barely escaped on Sunday), but they proved once again on Sunday that you just don’t mess with Texans.
