Arkansas Schedules Home and Home Series With Michigan Beginning in 2018

College football fans are in for a treat. Despite getting run out of the stadium on opening night against a SEC opponent, the Michigan Wolverines have agreed to a home-and-home series with another member of the Southeastern Conference. The Wolverines and Arkansas Razorbacks have agreed to the series that will begin in 2018.

The Razorbacks announced via a press release that they will travel to Ann Arbor in 2018. In a release of their own, the Wolverines announced they will make the trip to Fayetteville the following season.

“We are pleased to be able to add the University of Michigan to our football schedules for the 2018 and 2019 seasons,” University of Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long said in a statement. “The home and home series will feature matchups between two tradition rich programs representing two outstanding conferences. As a program, we will continue to look for opportunities to schedule high-profile non-conference opponents to further enhance our national profile and complement our competitive Southeastern Conference schedule.”
