New England Patriots To Honor Veterans With Unoccupied Seat

The New England Patriots have come up with an innovative way to celebrate Veterans Day and honor those brave men and women who have dedicated their time and sacrificed their lives for our freedom as members of the United States armed forces.

During a ceremony at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft unveiled a vacant black seat at the stadium that has been dedicated to honor those members of the military.

What an exciting day,” said Kraft. “Thank you all for coming here today. This is pretty cool and just another small way we have a chance to support all the great military folks who do so many great things for this country and in many ways are still under-appreciated in my opinion.”

The unoccupied seat is dedicated to those Missing In Action and Prisoners of War. Here is an image of the dedicated seat:

This is an incredible gesture that has never been seen in a professional sports stadium. Hats off to the Patriots for coming up with this tribute for the members of our armed forces and thank you to all who have served.

Be sure to take the time out to thank all of those men and women who have served and let them know that their service is appreciated.
