The Arkansas Razorbacks and starting quarterback Tyler Wilson have failed to live up to expectations this season, but yesterdays loss to the LSU Tigers had one bright spot for the Razorbacks.
Wilson leapfrogged current New England Patriots signal-caller Ryan Mallett to become the all-time leading passer in Arkansas history.
Mallett’s record was 7,495 yards. Following the LSU game, Wilson has 7,765 yards in his career. He also became the first Razorback in history to surpass 3,000 yards of total offense in consecutive seasons.
The senior quarterback will now turn his attention to preparing for the 2013 NFL Draft.
