The Wisconsin Badgers lost to the Penn State Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, but the afternoon game turned in to a historical outing for Badgers star running back Montee Ball.
Ball had a rough start to the season after being attacked by five men and suffering a concussion before the start of the season, but the running back came out on top and accomplished what he set out to do when the season started.
In the second quarter, Ball rushed 17-yards into the endzone for a touchdown that broke the Division 1-A record for most touchdowns in a college career. The record previously was held by Miami (Ohio) running back Travis Prentice. Ball now holds the record with 79 touchdowns on his career.
Here is the video of the senior running back breaking the all-time record:
Congrats to Montee Ball on a great college career and we wish him continued success at the next level.
