Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo has been ejected from Wednesday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets at the TD Garden. It was a flop by Kevin Garnett that started a scrum on the court. Rondo got in the face of Nets forward Kris Humphries and the two got into a shoving match that spilled into the crowd.
Rondo emerged from the pile without his jersey after it was ripped off by Humphries and was ejected from the game. The ejection ended Rondo’s 37-game double-digit assist streak which was second all-time in NBA history.
Humphries was also ejected for his role in the incident.
