NBA legend Michael Jordan has become a big time golfer since retiring from basketball and he can often be seen on the golf course in what can be described as questionable style.

Recently, Jordan’s choice of golf attire has resulted in him being banned by a Miami Beach Country Club.

A staff member at La Gorce Country Club asked Jordan to change out of the cargo shorts he was wearing during his latest round of golf, but he did not listen to the request and continued on his way.

“I’ve been there many times and no one told me a thing,” Jordan saud, via ESPN Chicago. “Then all of a sudden they come to me on the 11th hole and say I can’t wear cargo shorts. Wow! The round is almost over and you want me to buy shorts now? Yeah, right!!”

A rep from the country club stated that Jordan would not be invited back after the incident.

The required attire at La Gorce Country Club is  “a collared shirt and golf shorts or pants, no cargo or denim. If there are pockets on the outside, it’s not allowed.”

Sorry, Mike, but those cargo shorts have got to go.

Here is some further photo evidence that Mr. Jordan was rocking the cargos on the golf course, despite being asked to change out of the attire the country club deemed unfit:
