Clemson Tigers quarterback Tajh Boyd capped off his redshirt junior season by receiving many of the nation’s top honors. Boyd received All-American honors, was named ACC Player of the Year and is a finalist for the Manning Award. Boyd is riding his wave of success and will look towards the future by seeing where he stacks up against his fellow signal callers.
Boyd will be submitting his paperwork to the NFL Draft evaluation committee.
The Clemson quarterback says that he will wait until receiving a review on his draft stock before sitting down with his friends and family to decide on whether it is the right time to make the jump to the NFL.
He made it very clear that no round would sway his decision.
Boyd is a second year starter and led the ACC in nearly every major offensive stat category. If he were to return to school for his final year of eligibility, there isn’t much he could do to improve his draft stock. For Boyd, it will come down to whether or not he wants to enjoy one more year of the college life.
