Chicago Bulls’ Richard Hamilton Suffers Left Foot Sprain

Chicago Bulls guard Richard Hamilton was injured in the third quarter of the Bulls game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.  He was carried off the court by teammats Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng and was unable to put any weight on the injured foot.

Per the Bulls PR department, Hamilton was diagnosed with a left foot sprain and his return to the game is being called questionable. There are currently no more details surrounding Hamilton’s injured foot and no timetable for his eventual return.

On the season, Hamilton is averaging 13.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

If Hamilton is forced to miss any games, Marco Belinelli, Nate Robinson and Jimmy Butler will see some additional minutes.
