Jonathan Vilma Recaps Friday's Bounty Hearings And He Is Not Pleased

New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma has been one of the most outspoken members of the team that has attacked NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and the league for their handling of the Saints bounty scandal.

Friday morning, the bounty hearings took place in Washington, DC and Vilma was in attendance. Continuing in his outspoken ways, Vilma took to Twitter to give us a recap of yesterday’s hearing.

Well, it is safe to say that Vilma was not pleased with the way things went, but were the hearings good or bad, Jonathan? He was quick to answer that question as well.

There is some bad news for the suspended Saints players coming from the hearing, however. Vilma told NFL Network’s Albert Breer that Mary Jo White has been named the leading prosecutor. White has been a supporter of the league’s case against the Saints players and says they have a strong case against the players.

“It is a rare situation where you have multiple independent sources with first-hand knowledge,” White said in a previous conference call. “This is not something based on what somebody else said to them. It is an unusually strong record on which the commissioner acted.”

Hopefully the players can finally get justice for the mishandling of the bounty case by the commissioner, but it looks like the NFL is going to great lengths to make sure they get their way.
