There is some unfortunate news for the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night. It is being reported that Bulls guard Richard Hamilton, who left the team’s Saturday game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the third-quarter, will be out for an undisclosed amount of time.
Per reports, Hamilton has suffered a torn plantar fascia in his left foot. The team initially diagnosed the injury as a sprain on Saturday.
As previously mentioned, there is no timetable for Hamilton’s return.
On the season, Hamilton is averaging 13.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
In the absence of the veteran guard, Marco Belinelli, Nate Robinson and Jimmy Butler will see some additional minutes.
