Capital One Bowl 2013: Georgia Bulldogs Will Play Nebraska Cornhuskers

As we are getting closer to the official announcements for college football’s bowl season, rumors and match ups are beginning to be leaked.

One bowl game that we can comfortably pass along is the Capital One Bowl, which will be played on New Year’s Day.

Per numerous reports that have been confirmed, the Georgia Bulldogs will be facing off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Both teams are coming off of heartbreaking losses in their conference championships this past Saturday.

For Georgia, they missed out on a chance to play in the BCS National Championship game after losing in the SEC Championship to the Alabama Crimson Tide. It was a tight contest and one of the most entertaining championship games in conference history.

Nebraska, however, was another story. They were embarrassed by Wisconsin to the tune of 70-31. Nebraska was lit up on the ground by the Badgers rushing attack.

If Georgia is motivated for this bowl game, they could take it to Nebraska and we could get a heavy dose of Todd Gurley. This one has the potential to get ugly… quick.
