NBA commissioner David Stern was already unhappy with the San Antonio Spurs for resting key players during a nationally televised Thursday night game against the Miami Heat. Stern fined the Spurs $250,000 for sitting their star players but the Spurs may be hearing from the commissioner very soon.
A photo was leaked on reddit that showed Spurs big man Tim Duncan and guard Tony Parker on Halloween. What the picture displayed is not going to sit well with the commissioner — in fact, it will likely infuriate him.
Duncan and Parker posed with a Joey Crawford lookalike on Halloween. The problem is what Duncan and Parker were holding in their hands — guns. Here’s a look at the photo which will surely catch Stern’s attention:
Oh boy… could the Spurs stars have used any worse judgement?
San Antonio has a history with Crawford, who once ejected Duncan from the bench. Crawford was suspended by the league following the incident and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Stern suspend Duncan and Parker for their involvement in the photograph holding the guns.
This is something they will come to regret.
