Raiders fans were waiting for the return of Darren McFadden on Thursday night and they got it. McFadden scored a touchdown and got the Raiders into their matchup against the Denver Broncos, but the comeback tour was short lived. Despite starting and scoring, McFadden wasn’t able to finish the game and the full extent of his new injury isn’t known.
Allen says Darren McFadden wasn’t able to finish because he hurt same ankle. Doesn’t know how serious it is

Thursday night was McFadden’s first game back since injuring his ankle back on November 4th against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The man they call Run DMC missed the next four games and made his triumphant return last night, rushing for 52 yards on 11 carries and catching a touchdown pass from Carson Palmer.
But with 6:56 left in the game, McFadden took what could be his last carry of the season for the Raiders. McFadden came up lame and left the game, failing to return. The game was all Denver’s at that point, so his return would have been a meaningless risk. McFadden is entering the last year of his contract next season, and if it’s anything like his previous two injury riddled seasons, McFadden won’t be seeing the kind of money he’s counting on the bench at the moment.
