Jerry Jones Releases Statement Following Death Of Dallas Cowboys’ Jerry Brown

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has released a statement following the tragedy involving two of his Cowboys players. 25-year-old linebacker Jerry Brown is dead as a result of a drunk driving accident early Saturday morning. His teammate, Josh Price-Brent, was behind the wheel of the vehicle and has been charged on intoxicated manslaughter charges.

“We are deeply saddened by the news of this accident and the passing of Jerry Brown,” Jones said in a statement.

“At this time, our hearts and prayers and deepest sympathies are with the members of Jerry’s family and all of those who knew him and loved him.”

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the tragedy, especially the family, friends and teammates of Jerry Brown, Jr.
