The final hours of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher’s life are becoming more clear with the release of the police report detailing his final moments and the release of a video that had his encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs Police Department just hours before murdering his 22-year-old girlfriend Kasandra Perkins and taking his own life.
The police released a dash cam video from around 3:00 a.m. the morning of his death when they responded to a call of a man being passed out in his Bentley.
Police urged Belcher to go inside the home where he was parked until the morning. The two women inside the house confirmed they woke up Belcher a few hours later so he could be on time for the Chiefs team meeting. Unfortunately, he never made it to the meeting and instead drove home to fatally shoot Perkins before driving to the Chiefs facility to take his own life in the parking lot.
