Johnny 'Football' Manziel Leads The Way Of AP All-American Team

It couldn’t have been a better season for Texas A&M Aggies redshirt quarterback Johnny Manziel. Not only did the Johnny Football fever take over the nation, but it led to the young signal-caller becoming the first freshman to become a Heisman Trophy winner in the history of the award.

Now that Johnny Football is a Heisman Trophy winner, he is also a first-team All-American. The Associated Press unveiled their All-American teams on Tuesday and Manziel led the way for the first team.

Out of the teams represented on the first team All-American team, Alabama led the way with four players — Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack, C.J. Mosley and Dee Milliner. The Southeastern Conference as a whole came out on top with nine players. The Pac-12 had the second most representatives with six.
