The Bloomington South girls basketball team delivered a historic beat down on Tuesday night when they defeated Arlington High School. When the final buzzer sounded in Indianapolis, Bloomington South had a 107-2 victory.
Arlington’s only points of the game came on free throws in the second and third quarters, per a report from RTV6 in Indianapolis.
Unfortunately for the girls of Arlington High, the Indiana High School Athletic Association does not have a mercy rule.
“(The score) is probably not what we would like to see,” Chris Kaufman, a spokesman for the Indiana High School Athletic Association, told RTV6.
While the score is embarrassing for those on the losing end, the Bloomington South women have a win to remember for the rest of their lives.
