Former Washington Huskies quarterback Nick Montana — son of legendary NFL signal-caller Joe Montana — has found another home in the college football ranks.

After beginning his college career in Washington before taking the JUCO route and transferring to Mt. San Antonio College, a junior college program in California, Montana has finally decided to take his talents to the field for the Tulane Green Wave.

Back in 2010, Montana was a highly touted recruit, being ranked the No. 22 best pro-style prospect in the country.

Montana had received offers from Alabama, Georgia, Nebraska and Florida State but ultimately decided to play for the Huskies. He transferred after a lack of playing time.

The youngest of Montana’s son has two years of college eligibility left and is expected to be the favorite to earn Tulane’s starting quarterback job in 2013.
