Free agent outfielder Nick Swisher has found a new home. Reports have surfaced that Swisher has agreed to a four-year deal with the Cleveland Indians worth $56 million. The contract includes a fifth-year option worth $14 million. The 32-year-old had spent the previous four seasons with the New York Yankees.

Swisher confirmed the news on his official Twitter account.

Swisher is a switch hitter that batted .272 with 24 homers and 93 RBIs last season.

Signing with the Indians closer to home, which was a big factor in Swisher’s decision to play with the Indians. He played college baseball at Ohio State University and he is expecting his first child in May with his wife.
