Like many other college football team’s in the nation, the Central Michigan Chippewas will be rolling out a new look for their bowl game match up against Western Kentucky in the 2012 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. The Chippewas will be wearing a new jersey that is primarily maroon and a flashy base layer donated by Adidas.
“Adidas will be unveiling new tech fit uniforms for the bowl season on some of your favorite collegiate teams — Texas A&M, Michigan, Mississippi State, and Northern Illinois — and Central Michigan was chosen to be one of them,” said adidas collegiate representative Mark DeFeyter.
“We are very proud of our relationship with CMU. Dave Heeke and his administration work tirelessly to stay on the cutting edge of safety, performance, and general apparel needs for their athletes. We fully support their championship culture.”
The Central Michigan players have already received a look at their new uniforms and they appear to have made a positive impact in the locker room.
“I love the look of the new jerseys,” said running back Zurlon Tipton. “They just add to what will already be an exciting day for CMU football. I cannot wait to take Ford Field wearing them in front of a national television audience.”

What do you think of the uniforms Adidas has rolled out? It’s a fresh, modern new look and the base layer adds some nice contrast and brings a bit of flashiness to the uniform.
