The obvious change is the metallic silver numbers and the underlayer which features a huskie on the right arm. These uniforms are manufactured by Adidas and are part of their new tech fit series.

“Adidas will be unveiling new tech fit uniforms for the bowl season on some of your favorite collegiate teams — Texas A&M, Michigan, Mississippi State, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan,” said adidas collegiate representative Mark DeFeyter.

It’s a big step for the NIU football program. Not only are they playing like a top tier program, they are outfitted with the best of the best.
