It appears all but certain that the Philadelphia Eagles and longtime head coach Andy Reid will part ways at the end of the season. While Reid knows that his time in Philadelphia is likely over, he has reportedly begin eyeing another potential job opening in the NFL.

A league source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that Reid has his sights set on coaching the San Diego Chargers.

Reid is a Los Angeles native and the coaching gig in Southern California would bring him closer to home.

In San Diego, it is highly unlikely that Reid would have the same kind of control over the football team like he had with the Eagles, but when standing in the unemployment line, beggers can’t be choosers.
