The NFL playoffs are among us and the postseason bracke has been set. As we analyze the upcoming match ups for Wild Card weekend, we wanted to first take a look a the odds for Super Bowl XLVII.
Per our friends at Bovada, a Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl match up is the most favorable. As for your future champion? Odds favor Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
Jimmy Shapiro of Bovada wrote in an email:
“Even though this season we have seen at least five different teams as the favorite to win the Super Bowl, there is no doubt with clinching home field advantage that the Broncos are the clear frontrunner at 3-1. The Texans who were once at the top of the list have drifted off now at 14-1 and we cannot write a bet on them while some teams who ended the season strong such as Indy, Cincy, and Washington are taking some long shot money. The Vikings at 35-1, despite being over a touchdown underdog in their Wild Card game against the Packers, right now are the biggest loser for the book if they can somehow win it all. While funny enough, we are in the same situation as last year with the Patriots at 15/4 as the team with the biggest potential win for us.”
Here are the complete Super Bowl odds for each team in the postseason:
Denver Broncos 3/1
New England Patriots 15/4
San Francisco 49ers 6/1
Green Bay Packers 15/2
Seattle Seahawks 12/1
Houston Texans 14/1
Washington Redskins 18/1
Baltimore Ravens 22/1
Minnesota Vikings 35/1
Cincinnati Bengals 45/1
Indianapolis Colts 45/1
