Alabama's Nick Saban Wants To Be The Best Coach In Football

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is in the final stages of preparing his team for the BCS National Championship game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Miami, Florida. Saban is looking to win his fourth national title and his third in four years. The accomplishment would rank Saban among the best coaches in college football.

For Saban, the motivation all along has been to become the best coach in football.

“Oh, there’s no question,” Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart said. “There is no question he is driven to be the greatest coach in the game.”

Saban has been linked to rumors of a potential return to the NFL, so he could expand on his resume with a successful stint and turnaround of a franchise. If Saban gets his wish, not only will he be one of the top college football coaches of all time, but he could go down as one of the greatest coaches to ever grace a sideline.
