Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson will forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2013 NFL Draft.
Patterson was in his first year at Tennessee after transferring up from the JUCO level. He is viewed as a wide receiver with unbelievable upside and he could work his way into the first-round of April’s draft. Patterson has potential to become a number one receiver at the next level.
In the season opener against North Carolina State, Patterson torched the North Carolina State defensive backfield — especially David Amerson, who Patterson single-handedly exposed.
Patterson joins fellow wide receiver Justin Hunter, quarterback Tyler Bray and defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore as early entries into the 2013 draft class.
