Alabama Student Seriously Injured In Crash With Crimson Tide Cheerleaders Bus

While the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, their cheerleaders and fans were enjoying victory on their trip home from Miami, Florida, a charter bus carrying 31 members of the cheerleading squad was involved in a three car accident.

Details are scarce at this time, but here is what we do know thanks to university spokeswoman Deborah Lane and the Associated Press.

Lane said the bus collided with a truck and another car. The truck was carrying four Alabama students. No one on the bus was injured, but one of the truck’s passengers suffered life threatening injuries.

Thoughts go out to the student who was injured, their friends and their family. We wish the student a speedy recovery.
