On special occasions, professional sports franchises will wear patches or helmet decals to commemorate a certain event. This season, you can add the Dallas Stars to the growing list of franchises using the strategy for celebration.

In 1993, the Stars moved to Dallas after being the Minnesota North Stars from 1967-2003. The team won a Stanley Cup during the 1998-99 season in Dallas.
