San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has a long history of injuries and this season has been no exception. Most recently, Ginobili tweaked his hamstring in the first half of San Antonio’s win over the Timberwolves on Sunday.
Ginobili underwent an MRI on Monday and he shared the results of the test on his official Twitter account.
Just finished with the MRI. Grade 1 strained left hamstring. 10/14 days out. Will be back shortly. Thanks 4 ur support!!

There is always the possibility that Ginobili could be held out longer if the team decides that is the best option. With his injury history, it could be in the best interest of the team who is on track to make the postseason.
The Spurs are set to head out on a nine game road trip after the time frame for Ginobili’s recovery is up, so he could suit up and join the team, but the wise choice would be for the Spurs to keep Ginobili at home and make sure his hamstring is 100 percent before suiting back up on the court.
