When Jimmy Haslam bought the Cleveland Browns back in August, he made it be known that some changes were on the horizon. So far those changes have been firing the general manager, firing and hiring a head coach and changing the name of the stadium from Cleveland Browns Stadium to FirstEnergy Stadium.

But the changes aren’t stopping there, as Haslam as stated he hopes the have new uniforms for the Browns for the start of the 2014 season.

“Hopefully we’ll unveil uniforms at maybe this time next year for the 2014 season,” owner Jimmy Haslam said to ESPN Cleveland. Haslam wanted it known though, that he has no plans to touch the Browns helmet and add a logo.

“You can mark this down – we’re not touching the helmets,” Haslam said.

It’s going to be interesting to see what Haslam has in store for the new uniforms. He’s the owner of the Cleveland Browns, so his options are limited to about three color schemes, most of them resembling the packaging of Reese’s peanut butter cups. But who knows that Haslam has in store for the Browns, as a black and orange look wouldn’t be that off-putting, if not too close to the colors of the Cincinnati Bengals.

There’s not a whole lot you can do when your options are brown, orange and white but if Haslam can turn the Browns around on the field, who really cares what they end up wearing?
