Former Florida Gators quarterback Jacoby Brissett appears to be headed for Raleigh, North Carolina. After searching for potential transfer destinations, Brissett has reportedly settled on joining the North Carolina State Wolfpack, per Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post. Brissett was reportedly choosing between West Virginia and North Carolina State.
Brissett was the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback recruit in the nation back in 2011 and was a four-star recruit of the Gators class.
Last season, Brissett threw for 249 yards and a touchdown in six games.
Brissett has a connection with North Carolina State. When he was being recruited by college programs. new NC State head coach Dave Doeren had attempted to recruit the signal-caller to Wisconsin.
He will be forced to sit out the 2013 season because of NCAA transfer rules, but Brissett is eligible to step under center for the Wolfpack in 2014.
