Super Bowl XLVII Game Ball (Photo)

Super Bowl XLVII is set. NFL fans will be treated to a battle on the gridiron between the San Francisco 49ers, who have been designated as the home team, and the Baltimore Ravens. We are still two weeks away from the game, but the first image of a Super Bowl game ball has surfaced hot off the presses from the Wilson factory in Ada, Ohio.

Here is an image of one of the footballs that will be used for the big game:

Until kickoff, we will be subject to countless hours of “HarBowl” and “Ray Lewis retirement party” discussion on unnamed four letter networks. The grueling task of listening to the talking heads examine story lines that really do not matter will be tolerable if we are treated to a great game in New Orleans on February 3.
